OMG! Katrina Kaif Shares This Secret About Salman Khan On Koffee With Karan

OMG! Katrina Kaif Shares This Secret About Salman Khan On Koffee With Karan

At CRB Tech Reviews we have been covering in brief many TRP raiser episodes and today we write what Katrina Kaif had to say about her ex flame Samlan Khan.
Katrina Kaif Shares This Secret About Salman

So keep reading this block to know what Katrina has to say about or describes her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan in an episode of Koffee With Karan.

There were reports that Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will be sharing the couch on Koffee With Karan season 5. It was expected that the episode would get aired in next week and like everyone we are all eager to watch the two beauties taking the rapid fire round with Karan Johar.

It is said that the two lovely ladies have made some interesting confessions on the floor. Mainly Katrina! We are simply wondering what that could be! Well, let us tell you that Ms Kaif has spoken openly about her ex-flame Salman Khan. Ahem!

Anushka and Katrina have very recently shot together for the episode at Koffee With Karan and seems to have a lot of fun shooting together, while host Karan Johar had a meltdown on the show.

A source reported that they were at their candid best. During the thrilling Rapid Fire round when KJo asked Katrina which dish she would describe Salman as, she stated — ‘A tricky one!’” She also said that Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have founded a club called ‘I hate Katrina Club’. Now that’s annoying!

Arjun returned to the show on Star World for the 3rd time for the ‘Kiss With Arjun’ session, which was initially introduced on the Ranbir Kapoor-Ranveer Singh episode. He was ragged for his 3rd appearance in the same season. Anushka Sharma called him a bigger continuity prop than the couch on the show, while Katrina donated the coffee hamper to Arjun as charity. These sweet gestures left Arjun speechless as the two were candidly at their naughtiest best.

Very recently Katrina Kaif shared a picture of herself with Anushka laughing their away to fun. It is quite usual way how two giggly friends would behave after they have met since a long time and quite obvious finding it difficult to keep a straight face. Looking at their happy faces, we can say that it will be one of the best and most happy episodes.

Two ladies on the KWK couch has always been explosive. Do you remember how Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone giggled about their common link – “Ranbir Kapoor”? Katrina and Anushka could be just that or more!

So we conclude now.

Organizing with Stackables!

Organizing with Stackables!

So as you know, I have been slowly packing up the school year.  We still have until June 26th but slow and steady wins the race!  Besides I am getting the itch to just pack and go!!!

Usually my packing goes well at the beginning and towards the end I just stuff things where there is room.  I wanted to avoid that this year because I tend to lose things and dont end up finding it until  I start packing again.  So this year I went on a hunt for some organizing bins.  I found this at  and decided to give it a try!

I got these tubs from Really Good Stuff.  They come in all different sizes.  I ordered the medium but and large.  These stackables come in 3 for 19.99.  If you order 3 or more sets, you get a great deal of 14.99.  I love me a sale!

Its seriously perfect for what Im packing and whats even better is they are stackable!  You can keep lining them up on top of one another and it will fit perfectly.  This is what my markers looked like before in a regular bin.

Yes.. its messy and I actually forgot I had my markers in there so I didnt even use these markers this year.  I hate that!!  So I had to change this.

I organized them a bit and then tossed in my new stackables, along with some other bins and crafts.  This is how perfectly it lines up!  And I hope I dont forget they are in there this following year.

As you can see in my other bins, I have clothespins which I am always in need of and popsicle sticks.

I cant wait to order more.  I  will need to buy labels and stick them on the stacks just to be extra organized and know where everything is!

Look how it fits just perfectly in my closet.

How do you organize your things at the end of the year?

Optimizing Blogspot with Thumbnail Readmore Summary

Optimizing Blogspot with Thumbnail Readmore Summary

Optimizing Blogspot with Thumbnail Readmore Summary

It is not efficient to show a full view of the articles on the homepage, label and some kind like that into your blog. There is any choise by making readmore every time you write an article post, but making readmore manually it possible sometime left from your attention. while you have forgot to make it, your homepage will be very long. It could be a something less when we make readmore manually. For that we are going to make the style of summary articles with the image thumbnail  so that your homepage looks more beautiful and arranged consistently.

This is going to be a method to display the summary of the blog content by limiting the number of words on the article and the image size so that the articles as the content blog can be displaying more effective and structured. Using thumbnail readmore summary will give the new style of your blog content, this make thing much easier to look by the user. Completed with image thumbnail this is make the homepage looks more elegant. This is going to be the part of the content navigation that support to the SEO blog.

Ok! let us begin how can you make thumbnail readmore summary into blog to make a change your blog looks more attractive.

1. You must Insert the javascript to the head of the blog template that you use. Login to dashboard then click Template>Edit Html. On the script code of your template press Ctrl+F and type </head> to find the end of the head template. Put the javascript code below just before this tag </head>
<script type=text/javascript> var summary_noimg = 540, summary_img = 500, img_thumb_height = 150, img_thumb_width = 200; </script> <script type=text/javascript> //<![CDATA[ function removeHtmlTag(strx, chop) { if (strx.indexOf("<") != -1) { var s = strx.split("<"); for (var i = 0; i < s.length; i++) { if (s[i].indexOf(">") != -1) { s[i] = s[i].substring(s[i].indexOf(">") + 1, s[i].length); } } strx = s.join(" "); } chop = (chop < strx.length - 1) ? chop : strx.length - 2; while (strx.charAt(chop - 1) != && strx.indexOf( , chop) != -1) chop++; strx = strx.substring(0, chop - 1); return strx + ...; } function createSummaryAndThumb(pID) { var div = document.getElementById(pID); var imgtag = ""; var img = div.getElementsByTagName("img"); var summ = summary_noimg; if (img.length >= 1) { imgtag = <span style="float:left;padding:0px 10px 5px 0px;"><img alt="" src=" + img[0].src.replace(//s(320|400|640|1600)/, "/s" + img_thumb_width) + " width=" + img_thumb_width + px" height=" + img_thumb_height + px"/></span>; summ = summary_img; } var summary = imgtag + <div> + removeHtmlTag(div.innerHTML, summ) + </div>; div.innerHTML = summary; } //]]> </script>

We are going to use two javascript. Look at the javascript above!
  • summary_noimg : define the number of characters (letters) on the article if your article with no image inside, the character will be truncated after the word ended.
  • summary_img : define the number of characters (letters) on the article if your article within any image inside, the character will be truncated after the word ended.
  • img_thumb_height and img_thumb_width: define the height and width of thumbnail displaying
  • imgtag = <.... I suggest you dont change this, this is the script for the thumbnails optimizing so that the thumbnail will displayed no so weight. Sometime maybe any with the small size dimension but very weight, this is the optimal compression for thumbnail.
2. Find this tag <data:post.body/> on the script of your template and replace with the script code below!
<b:if cond=data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;> <data:post.body/> <b:else/> <b:if cond=data:blog.pageType == &quot;static_page&quot;> <data:post.body/> <b:else/> <div expr_id=&quot;summary&quot; + data:post.id> <data:post.body/> </div> <script type=text/javascript> createSummaryAndThumb(&quot;summary<data:post.id/>&quot;); </script> <span class=jump-link style=font-weight:bold;padding:5px;float:right;text-align:right;><a class=art-button expr_href=data:post.url + &quot;#more&quot;><data:post.jumpText/></a></span> <div style=clear: both;/> </b:if> </b:if>

<a class=art-button.... is the css class for the button readmore style that will be defined on the next step. you can use the style button readmore if you already have the style button.

3. Defining the style button readmore with the class css, put into the skin of your template. Ctrl+F and type ]]></b:skin> Put the css class that i have already made just before this code ]]></b:skin>
.art-button { border: 0; border-collapse: separate; -webkit-background-origin: border !important; -moz-background-origin: border !important; background-origin: border-box !important; background: #84633E; background: linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; background: -o-linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; background: -ms-linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; background: linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; -svg-background: linear-gradient(top, #B68F63 0, #AE8251 23%, #997348 50%, #61492E 50%, #876640 100%) no-repeat; border-width: 0; padding:0 15px; margin:0 auto; height:28px; } a.art-button, a.art-button:link, a:link.art-button:link, body a.art-button:link, a.art-button:visited, body a.art-button:visited, input.art-button, button.art-button { text-decoration: none; font-size: 12px; font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; position:relative; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; white-space: nowrap; text-align: center; color: #FFFFFF; margin: 0 5px 0 0 !important; overflow: visible; cursor: pointer; text-indent: 0; line-height: 28px; -webkit-box-sizing: content-box; -moz-box-sizing: content-box; box-sizing: content-box; } .art-button img { margin: 0; vertical-align: middle; } .firefox2 .art-button { display: block; }
This is the class button style of the template that created by Artisteer, it looks good. If you have used the template by artisteer and you have designed it by yourself on Artisteer, the css class above should not be added again. The button style readmore will performed according like you have design on the artisteer. And if you are master css, i am sorry to explain this!

Oh Joy!! A special Ink Pad Offer with a free brush!

Oh Joy!! A special Ink Pad Offer with a free brush!

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in on Inky Tuesday.
Today is when we take a look at all things inky.

As you may know, we were at Ally Pally this weekend.
We put together a pack of the new Artistry ink colours which I particularly like, and which to my mind, are a great starting place.
It was very interesting.
Although all 48 colours were available there,
customers preferred to go with the recommended packs.

Was it because the price was better?
Was it because there was a free Clarity brush in every pack?
Or was it because they just couldn’t decide ???

Here are the 9 colours I put in the set:

Mellow Green
Lime Kiss
Orange Popsicle
Cranberry Crush
Old Parchment
Cotton Candy
Midnight Blue
Aqua Fusion
Morning Dew

So let me take Midnight Blue,
Old Parchment and Aqua Fusion,

and show you how they work together.

This is such a lovely stampset!

JOY

In fact, Paul Church will be showcasing it on TV this weekend:
Sunday 25th, HOCHANDA at 5pm.
He has got 3 hours live that day: 11am  /  2pm  /  5pm.

Stamp the Beautiful Clarity JOY stamp onto a small piece of our Stencil Card, using Black Archival ink.

Add the birdhouse in the centre,

and the birds.

Cut out a mask.

Cover up the centre.

Using a blending mat underneath,
start working Midnight Blue into the night Sky.
I am using the little baby inkpads.
My big ink pads are on the van,
all ready to go to Leyburn Open Day this Saturday!

Blend the Aqua Fusion into the blue.
The combination is excellent -

especially when tied together with Old Parchment.

Remove mask and then decide what’s next...

Mask the outside this time and add a background in the middle.
Mini Moon required....

Here’s where I get mine from!!!
Spots mask
A moon for every occasion!!!

Great colours, but needs zesting up a bit....

Cover up the middle and flick a little bleach at it!
Caution: Not for the faint-hearted,
the I-craft-on-the-dining-room-table types
 or the posh dressers!

Run a black Sharpie pen around the edges, to tie in the JOY

Mount on white card, and add FOREVER from a word chain.

JOY FOREVER.

Time to go baste the lamb.
Sunday roast on Tuesday.
Why not ???

Dave just came skipping into the artroom,
“I’ve got the peas to go with the lamb !!” he chirped.
It’s the little things in life, innit....

Love & hugs,

Barb

NYE with Chloe Johnston

NYE with Chloe Johnston

minkpink, velvet, dress, habsa, chain, vest, harness, new years eve, philadelphia
This year is almost over and all I have to say is "good riddance." I cant wait to ring in the new year like Ive never rang in the new year before. (Except Ill be working overnight... so Ill be doing it from my desk.) I was kind of bummed about not being able to dress up for NYE so it was kismet when Chloe Johnston asked me to put together some looks, I was all in.

This first look was one of my favorites. Its classy, minimalistic, and dare I say, a bit sexy. I paired this form-fitting velvet MINKPINK dress with this gem vest by Habsa. When I put on this outfit, all of my insecurities melted away and I felt 100% fierce

blogger, Chanel, Philadelphia, E.M. Ricchini, fashion, style, This second look is so fun! I rarely wear such colorful outfits but some special occasions just call for it. I started out with a tutu dress form Lauren Conrads collection (yes, more velvet.) and added some of Chloes fabulous accessories. This vintage-inspired Dior necklace is the perfect statement piece for almost every neckline. It was made in the early 2000s but was inspired a collection from the 1970s. To add even more texture, I went with a tweed Chanel bag from the mid-90s. (Dont you love how the flecks of color in the tweed match the dress and blazer?) I love the little bijoux chain. (Good job, Mr. Lagerfeld.)

Kim, Kardashian, Gucci, dress, blue, Camille Jeanne, LouboutinKim K made this Gucci dress famous back in 2012. (After wearing this dress, I have a newfound appreciation for Mrs. Kardashian-Wests gravity-defying breasts.) I love how the timeless wrap shape looks with this open necklace by Cecile Jeanne.
Balmain, Floor length skirt, YSL, Christian LacroixYSL, Goossens, sun, cuff, haute, couture,Last but certainly not least, I fell in love with this beautiful Balmain skirt. The skirt is special enough on its own but to really put it over the top, I added some pretty spectacular accessories. This vintage Saint Laurent sun cuff won my heart. Its a rare haute couture piece designed in the 1980s by Robert Goossens. Fun fact: it was included in the Metropolitan Arts and Design Museum Exhibition on Fashion Jewelry. It coordinated seamlessly with a Christian Lacroix necklace and either of these velvet YSL or Chanel bags.
Chloes got such a unique and stunning collection. It had me swooning. Hard. She travels to Paris to find pieces and also offers customized city packages that let travelers shop around just like the locals. (WHAT? Sign me up!) What do you think about Chloes collection? Check out the rest of it here.

Out with the Old In with the New Bulletin Board Style!

Out with the Old In with the New Bulletin Board Style!

Happy Wednesday!  So happy the week is going by fast!  So close to Spring break I can almost smell it!!

Spring is finally here and its almost end of the year.  But instead of trying to clean up a bit and put stuff away, here I am creating a new bulletin board for my class!

This is what my bulletin looks like now…

I got these last year from Clutter Free Classroom and mixed it up with Rockin Teacher Materials.  It was an awesome set with tons of different choices for the board.  If you want to read a bit more about how I set it up and planned to use it, click here to take you to that post.

Its not that I dont love this board, I just think for my class this year, it just isnt for them.  I will definitely try this again next year and see how it works with my new babies.

Okay after thinking..not hard of course…I came up with a sweet idea!  I have been seeing this kind of idea lately on pinterest and thought it would be perfect!

Okay so picture this...

I dont have kids of my own but I can kind of figure out that this is how the conversation goes when my kids gets picked up from school.

Mom:  Hey honey, what did you learn in school today?
Child:  Nothing

LOL  I figured, this bulletin can help kids remember what they learned that particular day. We can discuss in class all the new topics we covered and the things we reviewed.  That way when they walk out, they have been refreshed with what they learn?  Are ya with me?  Okiee..

This is what I was inspired by on pinterest.  This was created by Teach from the Heart

Cute right???

Well I started to make it mw own.

This is mid progress…

I use the letters from the previous bulletin to help me set up this one.  I whipped this up so quick.

Final product…

Side view…

If you squint your eyes, you could see what I wrote! LOL

Here is a before and after shot.  I just realized I have been doing those a lot lately!

My plan for this is,  at the end of the day, I will ask my little ones "What Stuck Today".  The point is for them to backtrack and think about all the things we reviewed and went over.  Everything they come up with, I will put on a post it and slab on the "What Stuck" wall.  I think it will be a fun way to get my little ones minds going, even if it is the end of the day.  This way when their parents ask them what they learned, they can remember this!

Its worth a try and I am excited to get started!!

Have you guys tried this?  How has it worked for you ?

Id love to hear your thoughts!

Nutella Frosted Cupcakes with a difference

Nutella Frosted Cupcakes with a difference

It’s hubby dear’s birthday today. I had decided to make Shammi’s Pecan Maple Syrup Cake , but didn’t have any maple syrup or plain flour at home. Moreover, I didn’t get the time to do any grocery shopping on Friday or Saturday. Germany being Germany, everything is closed on Sundays. As hubby says, God too doesn’t work here on Sundays. Unless He likes to work in petrol pumps for a change.

So, I was left with no choice but to change my plans. In came the self-frosting Nutella cupcakes by Nic of Baking Sheet. I tweaked the recipe a little to suit my preferences though. I used whole-wheat flour (not the very coarse variety, but a kind somewhat similar to Chapati Ata, only a couple of shades darker), since I avoid using plain white flour as much as possible. I am happy to confirm that it didn’t make much difference to the taste, neither to the texture. I didn’t have enough butter at home, so I used whatever little I had and added some sunflower oil, but I think I didn’t add enough because the muffins were dryish (but certainly with less calories..now I feel a little better). I didn’t sift the flour, because I didn’t feel the need for it. I forgot to add the salt, which was not for any specific preferences but purely out of forgetfulness. Now, who’s got older? My husband or me?

All in all, I was happy with the outcome. I am sure, the muffins would have turned out better, had I used the given amount of butter. Otherwise, they went very well with a cup of coffee. More so, because I offered them to hubby as refreshments after he vacuumed the house. And that he did despite it being his birthday. So touching, no? –sob-

Recipe for Nutella Frosted Cupcakes
Makes 12.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp softened butter + 4 tbsp oil (The original recipe asks for 10 tbsp/140 grams butter)
3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla sugar (1/2 tsp vanilla in the original.)
1 3/4 cups (200 grams) whole-wheat flour (As per the original, sifted plain white flour)
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
Nutella, approx. 1/3 cup (Do not bother measuring this. Scoop it straight out of the jar as you need it.)

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line 12 muffin tins with paper liners.
2. Cream together butter and sugar until light for approx. 2 minutes.
3. Add in eggs one at a time, until fully incorporated.
4. Add vanilla.
5. Stir in flour, salt and baking powder until batter is uniform and no flour remains.
6. Using an ice cream scoop, fill each muffin liner with batter. The muffin moulds should be 3/4 full, if youre not using a scoop.
7. Top each cake with 1 1/2 tsp Nutella. Swirl Nutella in with a toothpick, making sure to fold a bit of batter up over the Nutella.
8. Bake for 20 minutes.
9. Cool them in the tray for about five minutes.
10. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

One note of caution: Please make sure that you use the recommended amount of Nutella and NOT less, because it is not just for frosting or for flavour, but also contributes towards the sweetness of the muffin. The rest of the batter is otherwise rather ‘unsweet’.
